Carla went to Little Falls Highschool where she was a midfield / forward 1999-2002. During her years of highschool she obtained 1st team All Star Center State Conference, Section III, and All New York State teams. Throughout her years of playing she was a team member on the Empire State Games, Under 16 and Under 19 National Futures Team, and Junior Olympics.She was also named NFHCA All-American and Mohawk Valley Player of the year 2002.
Following highschool graduation Carla attended Utica College.She was a member of the UC field hockey team from 2003-2006, where she started and played in all 68 career games. She ranks second on the college’s all-time scoring list.
She set the college’s all-time single season record for assist in a season (18) in 2004 and was tabbed as the program’s first-ever All-American. She was a four-time Empire 8 All-Conference selection. Behe and team led the Pioneers to the college’s first-ever NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in 2005.She was also a selected participate in the 2006 NFHCA Division III Senior All-Star game.
Throughout the years Carla has coached camps at Little Falls,Herkimer County Community College, and Utica College. She looks forward to working with the FOD and area field hockey players Contact Field of Dreams - 724-7117 to schedule an appointment.
